2013 foi o ano da primeira edição dos YouTube Music Awards, que deram origem ao conceito de video de música realizado em directo e em simultâneo com uma actuação ao vivo. 

Os Arcade Fire criaram assim as imagens de Afterlife (segundo single do álbum Reflektor) sob o olhar de Spike Jonze. Enquanto esperamos pela estreia do último filme deste excepcional realizador (Her, que estreia em Portugal a 13-02-2014), podemos testemunhar as angústias, dúvidas, certezas e descobertas de uma viagem interior ao som de uma música contagiante.
